Why best chef? Because chef derives from the same Latin word as chief, and chief means leader, and that's what Neville is. Not only does he own and manage two of the most well-regarded kitchens in town at Pine and Lugano, he takes his chef-dom outside his own restaurants and has led the world to Utah's door. For example, last year Neville received not one, but two invitations to cook at the prestigious Beard House in New York. In the spring, he showcased the cooking of Lugano, solo. But last fall, Neville shared the kitchen and national spotlight with three other Utah chefs: Matt Barrigar from Solitude adn Jed Banta and Chad Horton from Metropolitan. Together they cooked "America's 2007 Thanksgiving Dinner." Thank you, Chef Greg.
